Shinan district furthers cooperation with Shenzhen

A delegation from the Shenzhen Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Shenzhen, Guangdong province visited Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the district government on Oct 20.
The delegation visited the Qingdao Capital Market Service Base, the retirement service center, and the Forbidden City Cultural and Creative Store of Qingdao to learn more about Shinan district's industrial development.
The two sides later held a discussion and signed an agreement to promote the exchange of projects, talents, technology and capital between Shinan district and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
An opening ceremony of Qingdao's liaison office for the chamber of commerce was also held. The office is expected to serve as an exchange and cooperation platform for the two sides.
In addition, several Shenzhen enterprises signed intention agreements with the Shinan district bureau of commerce to set up operations in the district.
Wang Lixin, chairman of the Shenzhen Shandong Chamber of Commerce, said that Shinan district was the first district in Qingdao to seek investment from Shenzhen and it has made some significant achievements.
In the future, Shinan district plans to use the agreement to integrate resources and promote regional cooperation.
