On the morning of December 16, “Modern Marine Sciences and Marine Economy” National Postdoctoral Academic Forum was held at the Academic Exchange Center of Qingdao’s Ocean University of China (OUC).

The average expenditure of Qingdao’s urban residents hit 16,080 yuan in 2009, up 62.7 percent from 2005’s numbers, which is on top among the 15 sub-provincial cities.

Dazhu Mountain, or Big Bead Mountain, is located in Jiaonan city on Shandong Peninsula. On one side of the mountain, there is a black rock cliff 20 meters high to which are attached numerous "rock eggs" of various sizes.

Recently, residents living near Laoshan mountain have found that several monkeys have been frequently showing up on the mountains, sometimes even begging for food from tourists.
