High-tech company Qingdao Teld New Energy – or TELD – not only makes and operates safe and convenient charging terminals for various scenarios and vehicles in Qingdao, but it has also built a world-class car charging network cloud platform.

TELD has invested a total of 10.2 billion yuan ($1.43 billion) over the past eight years and its investment in R&D has exceeded 2 billion yuan.

The company has worked hard on both its hardware and software to ensure charging safety. For example, once a safety hazard is found in the charging, the system will immediately cut off the power to terminate the charging.

What's more, when users shake their cellphone equipped with TELD's app, it will automatically search for nearby charging stations. Another shake will take them directly to the navigation page to the nearest charging station, providing one-stop convenience for users.

Its real highlight is that it is not only a charging network, but also an energy storage network, micro-grid and data network. Its charging network has integrated a number of technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence and the industrial internet to realize digital energy management.

The aim of TELD is to make new energy vehicles charge new energy electricity, so that NEVs can "live up to their name" and lead to a greener future.
