An exhibition showcasing China's 10 years of achievements in opening-up is held at the fifth CIIE. Twenty-six enterprises and units from Qingdao have been invited to participate in the exhibition and they are presenting nearly 50 exhibits, which are intended to demonstrate the fruitful achievements that Qingdao has made in opening-up to the outside world in the past decade.

Qingdao's practices and achievements in preserving and renovating old historic downtown areas, enhancing new business formats and boosting consumption are displayed via an eye-catching short video at the city's exhibition booth.

National strategies such as local economic and trade cooperation between China and the SCO in Qingdao, the Qingdao Area of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and the Qingdao RCEP Pilot Innovation Base for Economic and Trade Cooperation are also highlighted at the exhibition.

As one of China's first coastal cities to open up to the rest of world, and an international port city, Qingdao plays a role as a pivotal point in the New Eurasian Land Bridge economic corridor as well as maritime cooperation.

The city will continue to improve the business environment, promote investment and trade facilitation, and increase its advantage in innovation through greater openness, according to local officials.
