The human resources and social security bureau of Shinan district in Qingdao held its first 2022 campus job fair at Ocean University of China on March 1.

More than 80 recruitment units, including the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Institute of Oceanology, Chinese electronics giant Hisense Group, and Qingdao Daily Group, participated in the online or offline expo, and provided 2,095 job openings. 

There were 397 different types of jobs offered, including those in internet information technology, marine biology, meteorology, new media, and other emerging industries. 

Companies that were unable to attend the offline event were given QR codes to display on a special wall, allowing students to learn more about their offers. 

More than 700 resumes were submitted to the fair, with approximately 180 job seekers establishing an initial agreement with their future employers.

During the fair, the district's human resources and social security bureau provided on-the-spot advice. The bureau is also offering an online consultation WeChat mini program with a panel of experts addressing students' concerns from 10 am to 11 am from March 1 to 31.
