Students attend pottery class in Qingdao
The Pottery Museum in Pingdu, a county-level city in Qingdao, Shandong province has introduced pottery classes at local schools to cultivate students' interests in pottery and promote the inheritance of the local intangible cultural heritage.
The clay pottery firing technique has a history of more than 600 years in Hejialou village, Fengtai subdistrict, Pingdu. It has been listed as a Qingdao municipal intangible cultural heritage item.
