Recently, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tsingtao Beer Science and Technology Research and Development Center was held in Qingdao Oceantec Valley in Jimo district.

Relying on the only State key laboratory of beer bio-fermentation engineering in China's brewing industry, the R&D center will be globally oriented with world-class standards. It will cooperate with internationally renowned research institutes to build a number of joint laboratories, promote beer brewing technology development, and help train talents.

The launch ceremony of the 1.2 million kiloliters expansion project of Tsingtao Beer Smart Industrial Park was held recently in Pingdu, a county-level city in Qingdao.

The project will add world-class production lines, saccharification, fermentation, and other infrastructure, as well as photovoltaic power generation, smart unmanned warehouses, and other facilities, which will greatly improve the smart technology level of the Tsingtao Beer factory.
