The China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Demonstration Zone for Local Economic and Trade Cooperation in Qingdao launched its booth at the investment promotion pavilion of the 21st China International Fair for Investment and Trade on Sept 8.

This year's CIFIT has a 110,000-square-meter exhibition area that hosts more than 30 forums and activities such as showcases of cutting-edge industries, high-level discussions and events promoting practical cooperation, according to organizers.

Countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership are among major participants at this year's fair.

Over 30 conferences and seminars discussed heated topics on domestic and foreign investment, including Belt and Road construction, digital and green economies, and carbon neutrality, according to its organizers.

At the pavilion for investment promotion, participants from 45 countries and regions, as well as international organizations and 32 delegations, are demonstrating their investment policies, business environment and projects.

During the event, representatives from the management department of the China-SCO demonstration zone communicated with various business partners. They also took part in key international forums such as the Russia-China investment and cooperation forum, aiming to exchange cooperation ideas with enterprises and business associations in Russia.
