Qingdao debuts new tourism logo

Qingdao Tourism Group launched its first high-end tourism logo, the "Qingdao Classic", on April 12, becoming the city's first integrated tourism brand taken from the perspective of "overall tourism".

Designed by famous designer Han Jiaying, who also created the "Friendly Shandong" tourism logo, Qingdao's new emblem blends various urban elements, including red tile roofs, green trees, the blue sea and azure sky as well as mountains, sails and the city itself, painting a perfect picture of the culture and vitality of the city.

While building the brand "Qingdao Classic", Qingdao Tourism Group also announced that they would maximize the use of its official website and smart travel platform, blending online and offline programs so as to get the most out of the overall development of Qingdao tourism industry.

At the logo launching ceremony, the group also called out for the entry of creative products for the "Qingdao Classic" tourism brand and invited local residents to vote for the winners. With the intention of showing foreign visitors the most typical images of the city, the collection activity allows local residents to work together to tap into their best memories of Qingdao.
