Qingdao held a meeting on June 17 to promote Shandong's food safety supervision. During the meeting, the province decided to speed up a project called "transparent kitchens", which started in Qingdao one year ago. The project installs glass curtain walls and video surveillance equipment in kitchens for consumers and local supervision departments monitoring the cooking conditions of restaurants.
