Qingdao, the popular coastal city in Shandong province, will hold the 12th international fashion week, beginning May 5 and lasting for 5 days. Prominent designers and exhibitors from China and abroad will be on hand with their latest designs and technology.

The organizers are expecting more than 120 enterprises and several dozen purchasers from overseas, and there will be 24 fashion shows and four competitions that involve the audience.

This year's show will consist of four major activities, including the 2012 China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week, Qingdao Famous Brand Exhibition Week, and Exhibition of Professional, Superior, Unique and New Products of the city's mid-sized and small enterprises.

The China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week actually started with the new millennium and has grown into one of China's major fashion events, with both a national and global influence, which continues to grow.
