Are clear blue seas, a cloudless sky, a church or a rich, green lawn the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding photo? You can make your dreams come true in Qingdao in Shandong province.

More wedding photography galleries are organizing wedding photo shoot group to Qingdao. According to the statistics, more than 100,000 couples outside Qingdao came to the seaport town for general travel and also for wedding photo shoots.

Although the weather is turning cold, new couples are still coming to Qingdao to pose in front of sites such as the Badaguan scenic spot and church on Zhongshan Road.

A woman surnamed Wang, who was shooting her wedding photos with her fiancé at the beach of Qingdao Badaguan scenic spot, said this was their first trip to Qingdao. They chose a local wedding photography gallery in Qingdao with the help of their friends, rather than one in their hometown, she said.

The manager of the Qingdao Branch of China Merchants International Travel Service, surnamed Yan, said that as the weather is pleasant from May to October, there are more wedding photo shoot groups during these months than at other times. He welcomed several groups of engaged couples this year, he said.

Other popular places for wedding photos can be found with an Internet search, including Beijing, Jining and Tengzhou in Shandong province, and Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei province. Some list prices and travel timetables.

An officer of the Qingdao Travel Agency Association said that more couples are pursuing personalized wedding photos, so they choose Qingdao because the city’s tourism industry is booming, which is fueling a wedding travel market in the city, as well.
