Qingdao Laoshan Science and Technology Town in plan

After 17 years of development and construction, Qingdao Hi-Tech Industrial Park has grown four leading industries which are electronic communication appliances, marine bio-pharmaceutical, equipment manufacturing, and software.

Qingdao Hi-Tech Industrial Park has officially upgraded into Qingdao Laoshan Science and Technology Town recently. It hopes to become "the leading technology pioneer around the world, and innovative science and technology leader in Qingdao which attracts top technology companies."

Qingdao Laoshan Science and Technology Town covers an area about 42.27 square kilometers. Nearly 30 square kilometers land has been planned and it can accommodate nearly 25 million people in the future.
