Qingdao: Qingdao Haier Co Ltd, China's largest listed home appliance producer, announced that its net profit may have grown by over 50% in the first half of this year.

The company attributed the growth to its commercial and corporate mode, and eyes to focus on high-end products and branding promotion in the future.

Haier Electronics Group Co Ltd,one of the company's major subsidiaries, has become a new profit source for the firm. Specializing in the logistics business, the subsidiary covers the whole nation with marketing, logistics, and service network, which secure its leading position in the government's program of selling home appliances to the countryside.
