On May 26th, 42 students from Qingdao Zhengzhou Road Primary School whistled “Ode to Joy” at the International Academic Exchange Center of Qingdao University. Meanwhile, the world whistling contest kicked off, and it’s the first time the contest is being held in China. The contest will last from May 27 to 30, and 70 contestants from seven countries will participate. The contest is divided into middle-aged, adult, youth and children’s groups.
