Qingdao: The first Beer Street Carnival kicked off at Qingdao’s Beer Street in Shandong province on August 13.

The 19-day festival, with the theme of “Charming and Sharing”, will include a series of themed events, such as the Blue Fancy Night and the Hawaii Season Wind Night. Recreational activities like a Crab Eating Contest and the Beer Drinking Competition will also be held during the course of the event, according to the organizers.

 Thousands of tourists at home and abroad attended the festival.
