Qingdao: The 19th International Beer Festival kicked off on Saturday in Qingdao’s International Beer Town in Shandong province.

17 world leading beer makers from 11 countries, will supply a record 102 different beer brands. The 16-day festival, with the theme of “Cheering for the homeland and with the world”, will include three major events: a Beer Tasting, a Carnival, and art performances.

The annual festival, which first started in 1991, is the number one festival in the national top ten festivals’ list, It is also one of Qingdao’s signature events.
