North China's No. 1 tall building to debut in Qingdao

The Shi’ao Building, crowned as the would-be No 1 Building in North China, recently received funding for construction in Qingdao, Shandong province.
The Shi’ ao complex, located at No 45 and 47 on Donghai West Road, consists of the 339-meter-high main building and one auxiliary building.
The project will cover a ground area of 10,723.1 m2 with a 240,000 m2 total planning area. A high-end residential building will occupy 107,232 m2 and an area for offices, hotels and commercial use will total 107,230 m2.
Construction of the project is projected to begin at the end of this year, and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2014.
