Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) has reached a significant milestone, with seven of its agricultural products recently recognized as national geographical indication products.

The newly recognized products include Haiqing tea, Dacun mushrooms, Dacun black fungus, Jiaonan green tea, Jiaonan blueberries, Baoshan apples, and Yuejia peaches.
Haiqing tea, grown in Haiqing town, is celebrated for its robust leaves, high aroma, rich flavor, and exceptional resistance to brewing.
The Dacun mushrooms are praised by consumers for their round shape, pure color, and rich nutrient profile of over 30 enzymes and 18 amino acids. Similarly, the Dacun black fungus is known for its thick, elastic, and crunchy texture.
The Jiaonan green tea and Jiaonan blueberries are recognized for their deep color and superior taste, with the blueberries noted for their large size, high sugar content, and excellent shelf stability.
Finally, Baoshan apples, grown in Baoshan town, thrive in the area's optimal sunlight and temperature variance, while Yuejia peaches from Wangtai subdistrict are valued for their crisp sweetness, intense flavor, and durability during transport.
This recognition enhances the brand value of Qingdao WCNA's local specialties and ensures their quality legacy.
