Golden flower awards glitter at 2025 Qingdao International Beer Festival

The Golden Flower Award for Craft Beer competition of the 2025 Qingdao International Beer Festival and the AEB Golden Flower Award for Craft Beer Technical Forum took place at the Golden Beach Beer City in Qingdao West Coast New Area on July 21.

The event unveiled the results of this year's Golden Flower Award for Craft Beer competition, with 11 three-star golden flower awards, 89 two-star golden flower awards, and 322 one-star golden flower awards announced.

A total of 417 brands and 2,017 products participated in the competition, which began accepting registrants in May. Thirty-four professional judges, including national-level wine judging committee members, Beer Judge Certification Program certified judges, and members of the German Brewers Association, were invited to partake in the event evaluation.

The competition featured two tracks: commercial brewing and home brewing, encompassing 12 professional categories such as lagers, wheat beer, ale, sour beer, and pre-mixed cocktails. It employed an online and offline dual-track scoring system.

To effectively showcase the award-winning brands and works, Golden Beach Beer City tailored a 1,800-square-meter tent for the event. This tent integrates competition, awards, exhibitions, promotions, performances, and beer festival operations, and will serve as the designated venue for future competitions.
