Booze King Competition brews excitement for Qingdao International Beer Festival

As a major lead-up to the 35th Qingdao International Beer Festival, the pre-competition for the Booze King Competition is in full swing!

This year, the Booze King Competition has been overhauled from the competition format to the gameplay. Classic events such as bottles of beer chugging and cups of beer chugging remain, with the exciting addition of new events like soda chugging.

In the three pre-competitions held in Qingdao, the top three players in both the men's and women's groups in each event will advance directly to the finals, known as the "booze king express". As of now, the first and second rounds have concluded with great excitement! After intense competition, six "booze king reserves" have secured their spots in the finals.

Notably, this year's Booze King Competition has expanded beyond Qingdao, with events in Shenyang, Wuxi, and Chongqing, inviting competitors from across the country to demonstrate their skills.

The official Booze King Competition will take place from July 18 to Aug 16 at the Golden Beach Beer City in Qingdao West Coast New Area. The top contestants from the pre-competitions will face off in the ultimate showdown to compete for the coveted title of annual booze king!
