Int'l students explore apricot traditions in Qingdao

International students from countries including Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, and Bangladesh, studying at China University of Petroleum (East China), visited an academy in Shandong's Qingdao West Coast New Area on June 8 to take part in a cultural exchange event focusing on apricot culture.

During the event, teachers explained Chinese apricot culture, while the international students shared insights into the apricot cultures of their respective countries. Local artisans presented the beauty of apricot culture through traditions such as yangko dancing and paper-cutting, showcasing its intrinsic and aesthetic value.
