It signifies a crucial step forward in the development and utilization of new energy, as well as the optimization and upgrading of the energy structure, injecting strong momentum into sustainable development.

The Qiziwan offshore photovoltaic project primarily utilizes tidal flats for developing photovoltaic projects, with an installed capacity of approximately 200 megawatt and an annual average power generation of about 340 million kilowatt-hours. Additionally, an onshore boosting station will be built to transmit electricity to inland areas and connect to the Shandong power grid through a 220 kilovolt line.

The project is expected to save an average of 91,300 tons of standard coal per year, reducing emissions of carbon dioxide by 250,100 metric tons, sulfur dioxide by 25.2 tons, nitrogen oxide by 40.38 tons, and particular matter by 5.16 tons, bringing about significant environmental benefits.

As a key SGLS integration project in Shandong for the year 2025, the project will lower electricity costs for enterprises, attract more high-quality businesses, and enhance the industrial competitiveness of the district.

Furthermore, it will facilitate the transition of the regional energy structure from traditional fossil fuels to clean energy, reducing reliance on conventional energy sources and increasing the proportion of new energy in total energy consumption.
