The 360-degree panoramic show Qingdao on the Sea in Qingdao West Coast New Area was recently named one of the top 10 trending tick-off locations in Qingdao for 2025.
The show centers around the theme of "narrating the tales of Qingdao", weaving together folk symbols with strong regional identities like fish lanterns and seaweed houses. Against the backdrop of a unique maritime landscape and the world's first colossal water-based mechanical technology stage, the audience is treated to a glimpse of Qingdao's distinctive maritime culture.

A standout feature of the performance is the water-land integrated underwater walkway performance area. The dynamic stage design structures work in harmony with the water surface mechanical systems, transcending conventional theater boundaries and immersing spectators in three distinct settings: a vibrant fishing village, a bustling trade market, and a tumultuous sea battle.
During the 2025 performance season, Qingdao on the Sea has embarked on a fresh journey. After a year of meticulous refinement and reshaping, this production, deeply rooted in Qingdao's maritime culture, has made a captivating debut in a new form, beckoning audiences from all corners of the country to partake in an experience that celebrates the union of mountains and seas.
