Huabiao Film Awards ceremony recognizes Chinese cinematic brilliance

The 20th China's Huabiao Film Awards ceremony took place in Qingdao West Coast New Area on the evening of April 27, gathering hundreds of film industry representatives of all ages.

In the end, 10 films were honored with the Outstanding Feature Film Award, including Article 20, The Wandering Earth 2, and Chang An.

The awards for Outstanding Rural Theme, Ethnic Minority Theme, and Children's Theme Films respectively went to Beyond the Clouds, Snow Leopard, and The Little Horsewhip.

Furthermore, Guo Fan received the Outstanding Director Award for the film The Wandering Earth 2, Dong Runnian and Ying Luojia received the Outstanding Screenwriter Award for the film Johnny Keep Walking!, and Zhang Yi and Kara Wai were awarded Best Actor and Best Actress for their performance in Endless Journey and Love Never Ends.

The record-shattering animated film Ne Zha 2 was honored with the Special Contribution Film award for its unprecedented global performance.

This year's Huabiao Awards ceremony also focused on promoting great domestic films that are set to debut during key periods such as the May Day holiday and summer movie season, aiming to continue fostering connections between film creation, the film market, and film audiences.
