The vessel measures 230 meters in length and 36.6 meters in width, carrying 50,965 metric tons of low-temperature propane. It berthed and unloaded its cargo safely and efficiently, marking a significant achievement for Qingdao Port of Shandong Port Group by setting new records for the maximum cargo capacity of VLGC vessels and the monthly cumulative unloading volume of low-temperature propane. As of March 27, Qingdao Port International Oil Port Co Ltd had unloaded more than 270,000 tons of low-temperature propane that month, breaking records and achieving its quarterly target four days ahead of schedule.
Looking ahead, Qingdao Port will expedite preparations for the second phase of warehouse construction, enhancing the comprehensive service capabilities of the liquefied hydrocarbon supply chain. This effort aims to contribute significantly to the building of a world-class marine port cluster.
