Qingdao WCNA leads China's exhibitions

Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) was just honored as a distinguished region for the high-quality development of China's exhibition economy.

At the recent 2025 China International Conference & Exhibition Industry Innovation and Development Conference (CCESF), over 50 exhibition cities and 500 industry leaders convened for future collaborations. CCESF, designed to establish a sophisticated, forward-thinking, and impactful platform for exhibitions in China, stands as one of the most influential gatherings. 

In 2024, Qingdao WCNA hosted a remarkable 470 diverse exhibition events, which drew over 17 million visitors and generated a consumption boost exceeding 15 billion yuan ($2.06 billion). This achievement led to the prestigious accolade of being named the best exhibition zone in China for 2024. 

For 2025, the area is committed to elevating its brand influence, with ambitions to surpass 1.5 million square meters of exhibition space and host 500 exhibitions throughout the year. This will further amplify the positive impact as a designated hub for the high-quality development of China's exhibition economy.
