A flower-themed market is being held in Maojiashan village, Lingshanwei subdistrict, Qingdao West Coast New Area from March 26 to 30.
The opening ceremony featured captivating Chinese cultural performances such as energetic drumbeats, energetic children's dances, elegant singing performances and exciting lion dances.
A ceremony was held to designate a local Chinese-style courtyard as a hub for the preservation of traditional culture. The Maojiashan intangible cultural heritage and creative street was unveiled to the audience, heralding the birth of a new landmark blending culture and tourism.
The market is segmented into seven key areas focusing on culture, fairs, film and television, gastronomy, interaction, health and employment.

Visitors can immerse themselves in deep cultural dialogues through books amid the aroma of flowers. Over 30 booths showcase and sell exquisite intangible cultural heritage products. A film and television wall has also been erected on-site, featuring characters from the movie Ne Zha 2 on the selfie wall. The rustic farmhouse feast promises to tantalize the taste buds, with each morsel exuding natural flavors.
Moreover, interactive zones, traditional Chinese medicine experiences, and recruitment sections ensure a seamless fusion of entertainment and practicality.
