Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) has been expanding the scale of its industrial tourism products by selecting distinctive industries, developing experiential projects, and enhancing supporting facilities.
While continuously upgrading its film and television industrial production system, the China Movie Metropolis in Qingdao WCNA is exploring a new interactive model combining film with tourism.
It has introduced multiple film study tours covering screenwriting, dialogue, directing, virtual film production, and more, providing primary and secondary school students with a basic understanding of the industrialization of Chinese cinema.
Furthermore, in collaboration with educational institutions and research organizations, the China Movie Metropolis established a study alliance last year to develop high-quality film art study courses, enriching the practical experiences available to young people.
Since 2022, the China Movie Metropolis has welcomed over 40,000 study groups, with more than 20 batches of teams exceeding 100 people each.
Just a 20-minute drive southwest of the China Movie Metropolis lies the Qingdao Mingyue Seaweed World Scenic Area.
