Opera evening in Qingdao harmonizes tradition, innovation

The traditional opera rings in a New Year's symphony, which interprets the brilliance of Chinese New Year. The 2025 traditional (Chinese) opera Spring Festival evening in Qingdao West Coast New Area is set to make a stunning impact.

With the theme "inheriting classics, innovating the future", the evening not only features classic excerpts but also arranged new pieces. Through the reinterpretation of classic operas and the innovation of modern artistic forms, the ancient and modern, tradition and fashion are perfectly integrated. It shows the vitality of opera in contemporary times, and allows everyone to experience the boundless charm of opera art.

The lineup for this opera evening is strong, with masters of various opera genres such as Bangzi (Wooden Clapper Opera) and Maoqiang (a kind of local opera in Jiaodong Peninsula) performing together.
