The Northern Micro-dramas City Marketing Center (Qingdao Cangma Mountain) recently participated in the first Conference on the Creation of High-Quality-Products in Radio and Television of China in Beijing.

The base, located in the Cangma Mountain Tourism Resort of Qingdao West Coast New Area and covering 32 square kilometers, offers over 100 diverse scenes suitable for modern and historical settings and international short plays.

The base has established a "one-stop service platform" that has served nearly 70 film crews to a high standard, aligning with its goal of enabling crews to arrive with scripts and depart with completed works.
Since its launch on April 28, it has hosted over 200 scouting film crews, initiated shooting on more than 70 productions, and secured over 8 million in top-ups for 16 productions, demonstrating a high success rate.
Qingdao West Coast New Area has introduced special subsidy policies to boost the micro-short play industry, implementing a free venue policy for all short play film crews and institutions until Dec 30, 2024.
