The Hajiu 2024 Qingdao West Coast Beach Run took place on Sept 28 in Qingdao West Coast New Area, Shandong province. With over 3,000 participants from all around the country, the event attracted many people eager to witness this grand seaside sporting event.

Featuring a ten-kilometer (km) beach run, a five-km family beach run, and a five-km individual beach run, the route traversed the City Balcony Scenic Area – a national 4A scenic area – offering runners an engaging environment amidst the sea breeze and stunning coastal vistas.

Qingdao West Coast New Area has hosted beach runs every year for the past six years, aiming to establish a distinctive sports brand revolving around ocean culture. The event featured "Haijiu", the enduring mascot of Golden Beach Beer City, as its spokesperson, enhancing the event's appeal.
