Seaweed to move big industry

Regarding technological innovation as the primary engine for development, the company has established high-level scientific research platforms such as its laboratory for marine food processing security and control and a national-local joint engineering research center.

"Our company can fully convert a small seaweed into a large industrial chain within the company, extracting its active substances and components to the fullest extent possible,” said Yang Xiaojing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of BMSG.

At the same time, BMSG connects the entire seaweed industrialy chain. Yang highlighted that as a leader in industry development and application, the company has been pioneering a trillion-yuan ($137.6 billion) industrialy chain system, transforming from raw materials to finished products, and boosting numerous related industries upstream and downstreamthroughout the industrial chain.
