Jimiya Fishing Port in Qingdao West Coast New Area has been recognized as a "national civilized fishing port", along with 12 other ports in Shandong province.

Established in 1971, the port has undergone expansions and upgrades to become a comprehensive facility that combines the functions of a national central fishing port and a national civilized fishing port.
With a land area of 39,433 square meters and a water area of 189,000 square meters, the port boasts a quay shoreline stretching 1,416 meters. Over 200 fishing vessels of various types are moored long-term at the port, contributing to an annual unloading volume exceeding 100,000 metric tons. Its exceptional facilities, extensive service scope, and high throughput capacity place it among the top fishing ports in Qingdao.
