Coastal rowing sports thrive in Qingdao West Coast New Area

An event promoting coastal rowing sports in Qingdao West Coast New Area took place at Tangdao Bay National Wetland Park on June 8.

The unveiling ceremony marked the official establishment of the Qingdao Coastal Rowing Sports Base, the Qingdao West Coast Rowing Sports Alliance, the Qingdao West Coast Cup Junior Coastal Rowing Base, the Qingdao Entrepreneur Coastal Rowing Training Base, and a rowing club.

Qingdao West Coast New Area has been utilizing its natural advantages to develop coastal rowing and host prestigious events, enhancing its identity as the Metropolis of Film, Island of Music, City of Beer, and Coast of Exhibitions.

In response to the national fitness campaign, the area is promoting the culture and tourism industry while striving to establish itself as a sports hub. By organizing public events and engaging various stakeholders, the area aims to boost interest and participation in rowing sports among the general public.
