The festival offered cherry blossom sightseeing and promoted the integration of culture with tourism, while also boosting suburban tourism consumption.
Dachang town, known as the main cherry tree seedling production and sales core area in Qingdao, is home to many cherry blossom industrial resources, earning it recognition in Shandong province and across the nation.
Leveraging its industrial advantages, Dachang town has implemented favorable policies and launched key projects to cultivate a vast cherry blossom production area. This initiative has resulted in the formation of a dedicated team for grafting, seedling management, transportation, and sales, creating employment opportunities for more than 1,500 local farmers.
The town's strategic initiatives have resulted in an annual sales income of 130 million yuan ($17.96 million), creating a positive chain effect within the cherry tree seedling industry.
