The Haixi Bay parking lot photovoltaic device, a key urban renewal and urban development project in Qingdao West Coast New Area, has started construction.

The photovoltaic power generation device is expected to be fully operational by the end of May. It will then begin grid-connected power generation, demonstrating the innovative concept of combining solar power generation on the roof with secure parking underneath.
With an installed capacity of 405KWp, the device is projected to produce an annual output of 560,000 kilowatt hours, providing a reliable source of clean energy for the Haixi Bay Enterprise Comprehensive Service Center and the parking lot.
This unique "car shed + roof" distributed photovoltaic project utilizes a photovoltaic integrated structure on the car shed's roof, replacing traditional roofing with photovoltaic modules.
In addition to generating electricity, it offers shade and protection from rain. This approach not only maximizes the utilization of space, but also reduces temperatures within the parked cars, offering a sustainable energy solution.
