Folk art performances await visitors at Qingdao WCNA

As the Lantern Festival draws near, Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) is preparing to host Spring Festival folk performances to enliven the upcoming festivities. The event is set to take place at two main venues: Seascape Carnival Hisense Plaza and Mangrove Town Square.

At Hisense Plaza, people will be treated to a range of folk performances in two main areas: Hainiu Square to the west and the Fountain Square. The Fountain Square will feature the Yellow River Grand Fair, highlighting handmade intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items and New Year goods.

On the other hand, Mangrove Town Plaza will feature fixed-point folk performances, including enchanting guzheng (a Chinese plucked string instrument) ensemble performances outside the Mangrove Wedding Hall.
