Qingdao's icy wonderland captivates visitors

The national tourism industry has been gaining momentum thanks to the new travel campaign started by Harbin in Heilongjiang province.

Qingdao, a city known for its beautiful beaches and refreshing beers, is now making its mark in the winter tourism industry.

In January, two snow parks, namely "Dreamy Snow World" and "Phoenix Ice and Snow World", opened their doors to the public. Both parks are located in the Golden Beach Beer City of Qingdao's West Coast New Area.

Covering a combined area of 53,000 square meters, these snow parks have quickly become popular attractions among locals. More than 60,000 visitors have flocked to experience the icy wonderlands since the start of the New Year holiday.

One of the parks, "Phoenix Ice and Snow World", is located at the Phoenix Sound Grand Theater. This unique venue is a great place to have some snow-filled fun with the family. Visitors can also try delicious local food while enjoying music and dances in the ethnic-themed amusement area.

The two parks will be open until Feb 25.
