Founded in 1952, Qingdao University of Technology (QUT) offers 63 undergraduate majors and has a total of 33,635 full-time students.
The university currently has 12 distinguished professors, including scientists recognized by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and national-level engineering professionals.
The university has been involved in academic exchange and cooperation with over 90 prestigious universities in China and around the world. It currently offers four collaborative undergraduate programs involving both Chinese and foreign institutions.
QUT has three campuses - Shibei, Huangdao and Linyi - that cover approximately 2.17 million square meters of land. The library houses a collection of around 2.6 million books.
