The cast of the Phoenix Music Festival, which is scheduled to take place from June 22 to 23 in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA), was released on March 30. Outstanding artists are scheduled to dazzle viewers with outstanding performances during the event, such as Sun Yanzi, a diva in the Mandopop industry.

The festival is integrating a variety of music genres and aiming to create intense summer vibe, and it invited top-notch stage designers to build three stages with different themes.

The Phoenix Stage is located on the music square at the Qingdao Grand Theatre, and the design inspiration was drawn from a phoenix, which also symbolizes the national spirit of China. The stage that can hold thousands of audience members, is the largest one among the three, and all the biggest stars will perform on this stage.

Located on the beautiful Golden Beach, Fengzu Stage boasts an outline of waves and a curved transparent roof. Rock stars and pop singers are performing on this stage.

Summer Stage was inspired by the sunset and young musicians will perform here in the afternoon to embrace the summer vibe with their fans.

As one of the most influential music events in China, the festival also plans to set aside an area for visitors to take pictures, immerse themselves in art, such as masterpieces created by Ren Zhe, a famous young Chinese sculptor.

The music festival aims to showcase the image of Qingdao WCNA as "an island of music", and has yielded fruitful results. The two editions hosted in 2019 and 2020 and streamed more than 1.5 million times on the internet brought in ticket sales amounting to 23 million yuan ($3.34 million), making the festival one of the top four music festivals in China.
