Qingdao WCNA signs contract with Mahaman

Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) signed a contract with Mahaman, which is a globally renowned tourism enterprise, at the Mahaman International Cultural and Tourism Project Signing Ceremony on March 21.

Integrating such elements as mountains, ocean, islands, and beaches, Qingdao WCNA aims to utilize the expertise of Mahaman to develop its ocean culture.

Boasting the largest number of ports and the strongest economy in Qingdao, Qingdao WCNA enjoys incomparable advantages for tourism industry development. It plans to support Ocean Holding Investment Ltd, a local enterprise, to integrate tourism resources, cultivate them in professional ways, and promote the area's name in the international community with the help of Mahaman.

The cooperation consists of two phases. For the first phase, the area is expected to invest a total of 7 billion yuan ($1.03 billion) in improving its tourism service level. Then, it will strive to introduce high-quality tourism resources to upgrade its tourism industry.

In addition, the cooperation with Mahaman is expected to bring positive results to more fields. It will create a new development engine for the area by attracting more attention, investment, and industries.
