Qingdao WCNA boasts stunning pier

Located in Guzhenkou, the center of Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA), a pier resembling Qingdao's Zhanqiao Pier that attracts numerous visitors every year, and has become a hit among shutterbugs recently.

Guzhenkou is home to many scenic spots, including the Dazhu Mountain scenic spot and the Langya Terrace scenic spot. As the pier gains popularity, the tourism industry in Guzhenkou is expected to further prosper.

Extending 500 meters into the sea, the pier consists of three layers and belongs to a Chinese Academy of Sciences research center. While presenting stunning ocean views, the pier also serves as a platform for scientific research and experiments.

Decorated with marine elements, the pier provides visitors a chance to embrace the charisma of the sea. When standing on the pier, visitors can appreciate the beauty of coral reefs and breath in the refreshing air.
