Qingdao WCNA boosts private economy

Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA), the only State-level new development area in East China's Shandong province has worked out solid steps to boost the development to boost the private economy.

On the first working day after the Spring Festival, the area held a conference to honor around 100 enterprises that have made outstanding contributions that have promoting high-quality development and employment. Private enterprises accounted for about 70 percent of the total of the honored companies.

Speaking at the conference, Sun Yonghong, the secretary of Qingdao WCNA Working Committee, urged learning from the outstanding entrepreneurs, and encouraged the business executives to have strong confidence and enthusiasm in their business development.

The new area offered training courses to private entrepreneurs to help them improve their management capacity as well as focus, and has also built an open, sharing exchange and learning platform for private entrepreneurs to learn how to understand a view of stimulating the vitality of market entities.

Up to date, there are 58 grassroots chambers of commerce in Qingdao WCNA and 1,878 member enterprises and 2,188 individual members involved in those engaged in the sectors of construction, water and electricity, catering, equipment manufacturing, agricultural product processing and artificial intelligence.

The Executive Committee of the 3rd District Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) has a total of 160 executive committee members with a large number of private entrepreneurs involved.
