Qingdao WCNA opens job fair to enhance employment

To enhance employment and economic growth, Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) held its largest job fair this year on Feb 3, and attracted more than 12,000 job seekers offline and 354,000 online.

The fair served as a platform for both enterprises and job seekers to share information, and provided guidance to those who want to start their own businesses.

There were a total of 268 human resources and employment enterprises offering more than 10,000 job vacancies at the fair. The enterprises were from a total of 17 sectors, including software, high-end equipment and food processing.

A total of 10 enterprises, including Hisense Group and Qingdao BOE Photoelectric Technology Co, attended the livestreamed job fair and provided more than 6,000 openings.

At the same time, an exclusive area was set up for policy consultations and vocational skills training, and 50,000-odd brochures explaining favorable policies for employment were handed out.

In the upcoming year, Qingdao WCNA plans to continue to improve employment platforms, provide better service for enterprises and employees, and hold more job fairs.
