Qingdao WCNA holds cultural tourism activities

A conference was held in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA), which is located in East China's Shandong province, on Jan 12. At the conference, a series of activities were released to boost the area's cultural tourism economy.

Surrounded by mountains and gulfs, Qingdao WCNA offers a pleasant living environment. In recent years, as the area's infrastructure and services have been updated and improved, Qingdao WCNA has become an ideal destination for visitors.

To give full play to its cultural tourism resources, the area plans to present six hot traveling spots with distinctive characteristics, which include Golden Beach and Lingshan Gulf. The six traveling spots are connected to each other and are expected to drive the local tourism industry.

Furthermore, the bureau of culture and tourism of Qingdao WCNA has plowed into the aesthetics of the 24 solar terms. The Jiaonan New Year Picture, which was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage at the municipal level, depicts 24 locations in the area that are worth visiting during the various seasons of the year and is themed around the 24 solar terms.

In addition, Qingdao WCNA intends to host consumption activities associated with cultural tourism as the Spring Festival, which falls on January 22 this year, approaches. During the Spring Festival holiday, the area is expected to provide three tourist routes for visitors and residents, including a wide range of themed events based on local customs and sports.
