The first large commercial complex project in the north of Qingdao West New Coast Area was launched on Dec 28, 2022. At the event, the opening ceremony of the first batch of stores was also held.

Covering a total construction area of 120,000 square meters, the complex gathers hotels, well-known fast food chains, coffee chains, local specialty shops, boutique supermarkets and health examination centers. It is expected to provide services for local residents and office workers who live in the neighborhood, especially those working at Beijing Oriental Electronics Technology Group Co (BOE), a giant Chinese electronic components producer.

Presently, the Holiday Inn Express has opened for business and serves as the first four-star hotel ever built in the neighborhood, which covers a total construction area of more than 20,000 square meters and offers around 200 rooms for guests.

In 2022, Qingdao WCNA insisted on the development philosophy of combining industrial development with the development of the city, and as a great number of tech giants such as BOE settled in, the old traditional industrial town has now become an area that boasts thriving high-tech industries.

To further develop its economy and better serve its high-tech industries, Qingdao WCNA plans to continue improving the living environment in the future.
