Qingdao WCNA's metaverse-themed plaza unveils renderings

A new plaza featuring metaverse elements will be built in Tangdao Bay Financial Science and Technology Innovation Zone in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA).

The design work for the project, called Haiwan Metaverse Plaza, has started and the follow-up work is accelerating quickly. Recently, several renderings of the plaza have been unveiled.

After completion, the plaza is expected to become a new landmark of Qingdao WCNA and will expansively improve the urban quality of life with fashionable ideas and dazzling scenes.

The plaza also plans to have a metaverse exhibition center that incorporates crown design elements, and combines sound, light and electrical intelligent facilities into the historical story line of Qingdao WCNA with an urban sound library and emotional expression screen to give visitors an interactive experience.

In addition, visitors at the plaza will have the opportunity to watch virtual images displayed over Tangdao Bay at night.

The project is located at the intersection of Jinggangshan Road and Binhai Avenue, with the core area of Tangdao Bay Financial Science and Technology Innovation Zone to the north and Tangdao Bay Binhai Park to the south.
