A dazzling array of exhibits representing cutting-edge achievements in the marine sector is on display at the 2022 East Asia Marine Expo in Qingdao West Coast New Area, Qingdao, Shandong province.

Over 1,000 exhibitors from more than 70 countries and regions are showcasing their latest high-end equipment, products and technologies at the expo. They include marine engineering, ocean science and technology, and marine rescue.

The exhibitors consist of more than 30 Fortune 500 companies, more than 20 national key scientific research institutes, and more than 40 industry leaders. Among the exhibitors, more than 30 well-known enterprises in the industry are participating in the expo for the first time.

The total offline exhibition area covers 60,000 square meters and consists of six sections spanning the entire marine industrial chain, namely the Marine Economic Development Achievement Exhibition Area, the International Cooperation and Strategic Industry Exhibition Area, the International Emergency and Rescue Industry Exhibition Area, the Marine Equipment and Technology Exhibition Area, the Marine Industry Commodities Exhibition Area, and the Import and Export Commodities Exhibition Area.

The expo also includes an online exhibition area that was created using virtual reality, cloud computing and other technologies for those who can't attend the offline event. The number of online exhibitors increased by more than 500 compared to the previous session.

The expo, which lasts from June 21 to 23, is an important part of the 2022 East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum. In addition to product displays, it also provides an exchange and cooperation platform for marine sector enterprises and institutions from home and abroad to interact.
