Qingdao WCNA attracts key venture capital projects worth 7.97b yuan

Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA)'s venture capital sector brought in six key projects with a total investment of 7.97 billion yuan ($1.18 billion) at a signing ceremony for key projects held during the 2022 Qingdao Global Venture Capital Conference on June 10.

The six projects, including four fund projects and two investment projects, will be invested in fields such as internet data center construction, high-end equipment, marine technologies, and aviation industry.

Qingdao city is striving to become a global venture capital hub and Qingdao WCNA is working to promote the healthy and sustainable development of venture capital institutions to achieve this goal.

According to official statistics, Qingdao WCNA has added four newly-registered fund management companies, 27 newly-registered fund products, and a new fund subscription scale of 9.44 billion yuan. There are 48 AMAC-registered fund managers and 193 registered fund products, with the total subscription scale hitting nearly 100 billion yuan.
